Ric Alfonso is a Managing Partner and the Head of Insurance at Maridea Global Capital Management.

Ric boasts a wealth of expertise in financial planning and insurance services. As the founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Watertower Financial Partners, Ric spearheaded the company’s growth to become the largest MassMutual agency in the greater Chicago area during his fifteen-year tenure. In this role, Ric oversaw profit and loss management, strategic marketing initiatives, and the implementation of business technologies. His responsibilities also extended to sales management and the cultivation of leadership development.

Ric’s career started at New York Life Insurance Company, where he dedicated over two decades of service and ascended from a sales representative to an esteemed agency manager. Ric is a graduate of Carthage College and holds licenses as a FINRA and insurance professional.

Beyond his professional achievements, Ric is an avid enthusiast of road cycling and Peloton workouts.
