Nick is Maridea’s Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than a decade of experience leading and scaling investment firms. He co-founded Hoot Wealth and led it through its integration with Maridea. Previously, he founded Motley Fool Wealth Management® in 2014, growing it to $2.3 billion in client assets, and later led the teams managing nearly $5 billion across several Motley Fool investment businesses, including Fool Wealth®, Motley Fool Asset Management®, 1623 Capital®, and Lakehouse Capital®.

In 2016, InvestmentNews recognized Nick in its 40 Under 40 list, honoring top financial advisors and industry professionals for their accomplishments, leadership, and contributions to the field. A former U.S. Army paratrooper, Nick holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business.

Outside of work, Nick lives life at full throttle—racing his Ariel Atom, skiing (despite what his knees think), and climbing Colorado’s tallest peaks. He and his wife, Logan, are raising their young son, Lando, with a shared love for adventure and Formula 1.
