Dan Lidawer serves as a Senior Advisor at Maridea Global Capital Management.

His career is marked by significant leadership roles in prominent financial institutions. Before assuming his current position at Maridea, Dan held the role of Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Cresset Wealth Advisors—an independent advisory firm specializing in ultra-high-net-worth families. Under his guidance and leadership, Cresset grew to over $3 billion in assets under management within its inaugural operational year and subsequently expanding to $40 billion in assets today.

Prior to his tenure at Cresset, Dan was the Co-Founder and President of Hightower Advisors. Founded in 2008, the investment advisory firm grew under Dan’s leadership, reaching over $40 billion in assets under supervision, employing 450 professionals across 57 offices in 26 states.

Prior to Hightower, Dan’s career also included a partnership with William Blair and a position as an officer at Salomon Brothers. 

Outside the boardroom, Dan dedicates his free time to rigorous training for ultra marathons and Iron Man triathlons.
